The Heart of Aloha
When we come from our heart and our highest and most loving self, Harmony and Well Being is restored in all our relationships
Kaleo Wheeler is a Certified Personal Confidence and Relationship Coach and Director of The Heart of Aloha. She helps adult and young women to have better self-esteem and body confidence and resolve conflicts within themselves and others with ease and grace. And what is special and unique about The Heart of Aloha Program is that it comes from the indigenous Hawaiian culture that created a system of living called Living Aloha, which embraces loving actions, kindness and forgiveness for yourself and others. It is basically to Bless the Present – Trust Yourself and Expect the Best in everything you do. The Heart of Aloha also brings an awareness and understanding to an indigenous culture that has long been misunderstood through Hawaiian Storytelling Educational Theater Performances and Presentations, and through Artist-in-Residence Programs in the schools for children.

Some Thoughts on the Real Meaning of What Hula Is
Dance can be one way of teaching people to harmonize Body, Mind and Spirit. Hula is one of the best forms of dance in the world for teaching people how to experience that kind of harmony.
Unlike what most people think of hula – grass skirts and coconut bras of the Bing Crosby and Elvis Presley movies or the fast hip movements of the modern hula (Tahitian); the traditional ancient form of hula, like the Chinese Tai Chi, instead helps you "break free of the box". It can be a path of spiritual development as well as a source of joy to beholders and dancers alike.
